Modesta
Extreme Autowerks® is proud to be a Modesta Certified Installer. Modesta Glass Coatings are regarded as the best performing and longest lasting coatings currently available. Modesta Glass Coatings are silica-based and provide amazing chemical protection to paint, wheels, and paint protection film. This incredible protection means bird droppings, bug guts, and other environmental hazards will not have a chance to permanently etch your vehicle’s finish. On top of the second to none chemical protection, Modesta Glass Coatings are also the most hydrophobic coatings available. This creates a self cleaning effect that will not only keep your vehicle cleaner, but make your vehicle easier to clean when you do wash it.

On top of the unequalled protection offered, Modesta Coatings also add astonishing gloss and luster to your paintwork that other coatings can’t compare to. With Modesta applied to your paintwork and/or Paint Protection Film, you will not need to apply traditional waxes or sealants for protection, so maintenance is incredibly easy with simple washes and maintenance sprays. We recommend yearly inspections of the coating to insure it is performing at its optimal level.

Paint Correction
Single Stage Paint Correction
The Single-Eliminates light defects in the paint and increases the gloss and clarity of the finish. While there are many variables that determine just how much correction can be safely achieved with one stage of correction, we approach each car appropriately to try and maximize the results. Depending on the characteristics and condition of the paint, we can normally remove anywhere from 30-70% of all swirl marks and light defects.
-
Vehicle is hand washed with a pH neutral soap and dried with soft microfiber towels
-
Detailing clay is used to remove embedded contamination
-
One-step paint polishing process is utilized to remove many swirl marks and some light scratches, restoring depth, gloss and shine to the paint
-
Door jambs are dried and wiped down
-
Wheel faces and barrels are cleaned with appropriate brushes
-
Tires are washed and dressed
-
Exhaust tips are washed and lightly polished
-
Quality polymer sealant is applied to exterior painted surfaces for shine and protection
-
Interior gets a light vacuuming
Multi-Stage Paint Correction
Recommended as initial service for vehicles with paint in fairly poor condition, having moderate defects like fading, oxidation, large amounts of swirl marks, scratches, etc.
The Multi-Stage Paint Correction Detail is our most valuable and beneficial detailing service for most vehicles that are driven frequently. Through two or more steps of machine polishing, the paint on the vehicle is greatly improved. This is achieved by removing unsightly swirl marks, greatly improving deep scratches or defects and bringing out a clarity that brings the shine, gloss and reflections of the paint to a whole new level. As with any correction service, level of improvement will greatly depend on the paint type and condition, but we are normally able to accomplish 75-95% defect removal after two or three stages of paint correction. After the paint correction, the vehicle is protected with a quality polymer sealant that is applied to all exterior surfaces.

Headlight Restoration
Back in the day a car’s headlights may have been made of glass and were affordable. Today headlights on most current vehicles are constructed using a lightweight, but tough, polycarbonate plastic that can cost as much as $1200 per light. This type of plastic is great because it provides a favorable set of attributes that include: optical clarity, impact resistance and the ability to tolerate high temperatures. Although it is hard, it also is porous and susceptible to environmental elements. To counteract this condition, a silicone hard coat is applied to the lenses at the factory. Keep in mind, that aftermarket headlights may not have this coating. The hard coat is designed to protect the headlights from acid rain, vehicle exhaust, heat, bugs, scratches, harsh chemicals, and the sun. Over time the coating on your headlights wears away, allowing them to turn cloudy, oxidized, or yellow. This can reduce night-time vision by up to 70%, causing an unsafe driving condition.
At Reveal Detailing we can restore the beauty of your headlights for a fraction of the cost for new ones. Our process starts with sanding the headlights, beginning with a coarse grit. As we continue this process with finer grade of sand paper, we are able bring back the optical clarity they had when new. The headlight are buffed and polished to a clear shine. Finally we apply LLumar's Paint Protection Film to protect and seal the headlights. LLumar's Paint Protection Film comes with a 3 years warranty. An average headlight restoration takes about 3-4 hours (Depends on how bad the headlights are). We can also provide this service to taillights as well.
We guarantee your headlights will not yellow for 3 years!
